Whale Watching
It’s an exciting adventure that lets you see these amazing animals in their own home. On my last trip, I got lucky and saw a pod of killer whales jumping out of the water, their bodies just swimming effortlessly through the water.
It was so exciting and amazing, I hard to express the feeling I had. The NOAA says that whale watching is a significant event now, bringing in thousands of individuals every year.

My guide, Mike, was fantastic. He shared many interesting facts about the whales’ behavior, which enhanced our trip greatly. In addition, Island Packers ensures to be eco-friendly towards the ocean, to operate tours in the most eco-friendly manner possible.
Whale Species
A wide variety of different whale species can be seen to see during a whale watching tour, and each species is distinct. The blue whale, the biggest animal on the planet, is often seen, usually observed along the coast of California.
The gray whales, which migrate annually, are also quite fascinating to observe. A multitude of dolphins, including the bottlenose dolphins, swimming in the area, which adds more enjoyment to the trip. During a recent journey, I was impressed when a humpback whale leaped from the water, as its tail forcefully hit the water.
Marine Conservation
Whale observing gives you an wonderful experience and also helps preserve the ocean. When you see these creatures up close, you understand the importance it is to maintain the ocean’s health. Personal Experience
One of the highlights of my journey was when a grey whale came extremely close to our boat. The manner in which the whale moved was just astounding.
It felt astounding to see nature in its prime. After returning from the trip loving these whales more and committed to protecting them.
